ABOUT NOTRE DAME OF GREATER MANILA

Notre Dame of Greater Manila (NDGM) welcomes the accreditors from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU), for its re-accreditation visit to the Elementary School. Since the last visit, the Elementary School has endeavored not only to maintain the standard of education it has achieved, but to constantly improve on its many dimensions.

Accreditation constantly keeps our institution on its toes, even as it grapples with the rapidly evolving environment in which education takes place in the Philippines and globally. We are happy to undergo this process, mindful of the trust and confidence reposed on us by parents, students and the community we serve.

On NDGM’s 52nd year, we are determined to be a better instrument of the Church at the service of society. We are resolute in our undertaking to help form persons of passionate minds and compassionate hearts.

We are grateful to PAASCU and its team of accreditors for engaging our school community in the collaborative effort to keep true to our mandate as an Oblate institution of basic education. We thank them for their observations and recommendations that enhance the service we provide.

Again, we extend a warm welcome to our guests, and join them in hoping for a fruitful visit.

Vision & Mission

Our Vision

Notre Dame of Greater Manila is a leading community of
whole-person learning and evangelization
in the 21st century.

Our Mission

We nurture compassionate hearts and passionate minds
in the service of society.

Our History

Notre Dame of Greater Manila first opened its doors in June 1963 to five-year-old kindergarteners, 6-year-old preparatory schoolers and grades one to five boys. The first several years were under the direction of American missionary Oblates who left the comfort of their homes, their loving families and their beautiful country to respond to the call of Jesus Christ to bring the gospel to the Philippines.
